Today's challenge: Take an inanimate object (look around - there's got to be a lot around you; I have a spoon, for example) and write a couple of paragraphs of its life. Do what you want with that - maybe it's an anthropomorphic animated spoon. Maybe it's a real spoon, currently being used to slurp ramen broth. Maybe it's an alien spoon designed for a species that has toilet plungers for hands. Whatever you want, but the object should be the focus, not any other character who might be using the object.
