Fill - Challenge 250 (orig)

( So the version we had in class , I believe, the premise was the character was a journalist.   This legit is longer than the one I actually posted on the Discussion Board.  I don't know why,  think my brain got away from me.

Also I'm practicing First Person)   No clue if I'll do much more with this- more than likely not,  but it was a fun challenge!

Challenge #251

Write a couple of paragraphs of a scene in which two people are having a conversation, but told from the POV of a third person who is hearing them. The third person could be an eavesdropper or spy (meaning, intentionally listening in), or could be inadvertently hearing them (like, a barista as the two people approach the counter). One goal of this is to make sure not to communicate to the reader the speakers' thoughts and feelings, since the listener cannot know them. He/she can only know what they're saying and their tone of voice and expressions.
