Fill- Challenge 433 (DW)

Inspired by an idea from @shivver  and the Genremixer throwing out the trope "obedience" with these two.  I do want to expand this. No warnings, but it helps if you've seen "Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead" or are at least aware of what happens in the latter.

The door to Donna's bedroom opens just a crack; and an all-too familiar head of spiked hair peeks through.

"What's wrong, space man?" she asks,  not even getting off of her bed.

" Just coming to see how you are.  After the Library, and, you know..."

Donna scowls.  " Lee? You can say it. I know he's gone. "  She sighs, leaning back against one of the overstuffed pillows. " I'm fine. Best that can bee expected. "  Donna pulls a blanket over herself.  " Finally find someone who's not rubbish, got this  ... unbelievable life together , and it's not even real.  Figures. "

She watches the Doctor open and close his mouth, as if trying to find the words. Finally, all he says is " I'm so sorry."

"I know.  Could you just give me a moment?"

The door closes as she sinks into the bed.
---

About an hour later, Donna sits up.  The lights have dimmed automatically, save for a tiny stream of light pouring into the room from... she turns towards the doorway to see the Doctor there,  his face lit up in an impish grin.

"Donna Noble, "  He walks over to her.  " I have got an idea. Starting right now,  anything you want , I'll do it."

Donna looks quizzically at him.  " You're kidding?"

He shakes his head.  "Nope! Your wish is my command.  Whatever you want, I'll do it. Absolutely anything, no terms or conditions. Just say the word."

"So I can just, what , order you around? Like that film? The one with the princess and the man in the mask."

The Doctor runs a hand over his hair. "The Princess Bride?"

"That one.  " She sits on the edge of the bed.  "Right,  well then,  tea. And see if we have any of the good biscuits left."

"As you wish."
