Nice! I really like the way you set up the situation subtly, with cool details (knuckled turning white, thunderous roar, etc). Also, love the middle school sarcasm. The only thing I don't get - how do they get home after "the portal closes"? That's something I can't tell from the scene, though I suppose it would be explained before this.

I have never seen OUaT, though I just read the Wikipedia description and it sounds fun. I like how the showrunners say they wanted to make a hopeful, optimistic show - that is so rare nowadays.
