Fill- Challenge 156 (original)
( I have this soft stuffed frog on my bed. Time for backstory!! )
She's come a long way.
To anyone else, she's just a regular pile of green fa ric and stuffing. But this frog, Sara as she's been dubbed, could tell some stories.
She can still recall the twinges of discomfort as she was stitched together. And the cold, unfeeling nature of the manufacturer. But she knows that she, like all the various bears and animals, are destined for something wonderful: to be hugged, cuddled, and loved by someone. She wakes up in a huge building- housing some of the most remarkable things ever. Everything from Transformers to video games to plush like her live here! She has a lot of new friends, even if they don't always seems so friendly- like that movie she's heard several of the customers mention about the toy cowboy and spaceman.
One day, it happens. She's being taken home! And it's wonderful- she gets played with. She's the main guest at tea parties and balls, has tons of imaginary adventures, and just there when the little girl needs someone to talk to. But her owner grows up, and Sara next finds herself, along with a host of other toys, in a big white bag; soon to be donated. Her future is uncertain now. Hopefully, she'll find a new home and someone who will love her again. But if any of the other toys are any indication, it's not likely.
Now Sara lives in a new room. There's other friends for her here: a super soft cow, an elephant, panda, even a couple of dragons. But the best thing for her is she gets to be hugged and cuddled with again.

You need a little work on straightening out your tenses here. You start in the present day with "she can still recall", then move into recollection but keep present tense, in "she knows that she... is destined..." That second bit, since she's remembering knowing this, should be "she knew that she... was destined..." Maybe instead of starting with "but" (which is a questionable style choice), you could start that sentence with "Though she was frightened and sore, she knew..." Some of the later sentences are harder to transform to past tense, but you could reconfigure them and do a lot more with them.
