Challenge #81

Here's a twist... write a couple of paragraphs of an event which will, in the future, lead to a trip to a doctor. Not the Doctor, but a medical practitioner of some sort. See how inventive you can get - maybe it's a weird injury, or maybe whatever your characters are doing will lead to someone else going to a doctor. You don't need to mention that eventual outcome at all. Just depict something that plausibly might lead there.

 (Fifth Doctor, Nyssa)

The Doctor and Nyssa were sat on a patch of soft lavender grass; looking up as the treetops on either side of them began to sway in the evening breeze,  causing a fluttering of orange leaves and a sweet fragrance in the air. 

 

"Beautiful, isn't it Nyssa?" the Doctor asked, a leaf landing on his head. 

 

"You were right, Doctor" Nyssa said, " The Forests of Algo-4 are truly beautiful.  It reminds me a bit of the groves on Traken." Her expression suddenly grew wistful. 

 

He tried to look reassuring.  "Yes,  I'm sorry if it's causing any old memories.  I thought you might like it after what happened on Mondas. "  He watched as the green sun began to circle overhead and a few more leaves fell.  " There's still the sunset, unless you would rather leave. " 

 

Nyssa held out her hand, holding a leaf and looking up.  "Actually Doctor, could we stay a bit longer?"
