O, hey guys! Still pounding away on the novel so I'm definitely getting my minutes in, if not related to the challenges. Doesn't help my work hours have exploded so I'm having to eek time in even moreso than usual.

Well, sort of a fill. I did actually do a little writing this weekend, but it was mostly editing and revision. I have this WIP I've been poking at it and it's 90% done but I have no idea how to end it, so I've been rewriting rather than facing that awful specter of conclusion. So, nothing to actually post here, but at least I did something.

Let's do a phrase challenge, an exchange from one of my favorite Doctor Who episodes, "Battlefield". Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, now long retired, is facing down the Destroyer, the monster of the day that's about to destroy the world.

Destroyer: Pitiful. Can this world do no better than you as their champion?
Brigadier: Probably. I just do the best I can.
