Fill: Challenge #39 (DW)

Hey! I actually did ten minutes of writing! But not much more. This will eventually be part of a story I'm writing about Luke Rattigan from "The Sontaran Strategem"/"The Poison Sky", who is one of my favorite guest characters. This bit is a character introspection, though it's about what's happening in that story, not about the actual episodes (which would be hard, since he's dead by the end of them). The part with the woman coming up and talking to him is meant to demonstrate that contrary to what he thinks, no one noticed him at all - he just assumes that he's making a splash. It doesn't really convey that, though, and if/when I do write the rest of this story, I will expand this bit to make that really clear.

Memories (good and bad) can tell a lot about a character.  
Write a scene where the character (s) has forgotten something.  Is it something major or innocuous? Or is it something he or she tries to not remember on purpose?
