Hey there! So yeah, writing has just not been a thing for me lately. Things have been stressy and I've been in a escapist mood - spent the entire weekend playing Stardew Valley, for example.
Today's challenge is meant to be difficult, or at least, well, challenging. It's meant to really get you into the head of your character. Give your character a motivation or opinion that you yourself oppose, and write a scene where the character explains it to someone else. It should not be a trivial opinion, like their favorite color is one that you hate. It should be reasonably important - an example would be the argument between the Doctor and Donna in "The Fires of Pompeii", when they figured out they were in Pompeii and Donna wanted to warn everyone so they wouldn't die and the Doctor insisted on leaving and letting history play out as it should.
The point is to dig into the character's personality and history to understand why they feel that way - remember that everyone believes their beliefs and motivations are right.
