romanajo123(Six and Charley, because I discovered the Sixth Doctor is kind of fun to write)
Charley looked down at her plate, idly poking at the contents. To say the dish had more colors than her traveling companion's coat would be an understatement: this was like the entire contents of a garden party were mashed into one bowl, the grass included.
"Doctor, " she asked, " when I mentioned wanting a curry, I'm quite sure this wan't what I had in mind."
"Charlotte, Jemaya-7 has the galaxy's most delightful delicacies" the Time Lord replied, before eating a spoonful of his own order. "And where would be the fun in exploring? For curry, I could've just taken us to Southeast England."
"At least there I'd have some idea of what I was eating." the Edwardian muttered, sniffing the blue milk-like liquid in her goblet "Oh it's rancid!"
" Nothing ventured, nothing gained" quoted the Doctor. "Heywood."
Charley took a cautionary sip of the milk. "Not the worst in the world. But, are we requited to actually finish all of this?"
At her words, their hosts, the two large octopus-creatures, stood up and wriggled over. Their expressions were a mix of curiosity and disappointment.
"It seems your question has offended our hosts." whispered the Doctor.
Charley sighed, scooping up a spoonful of the mixture and popping it into her mouth. She was desperately hoping it wasn't poisonous to humans.
