So this was an interesting one.  I rewatched most of Turn Left today, so have some Donna introspective.

Donna watches as the little bit of light in their room flickers out. It's bad enough she, her Mum, and granddad are stuck here in Leeds, but it's starting to wear and tear on her.  She hates this: all these people crammed into one house, all the noise, the fact they're going to be stuck here for who knows how long all because of that stupid Titanic thing.   It's getting worse and worse every day.  Her granddad is trying to be optimistic , but it's not helping. Not in the least anymore.

That blond woman shows up again. Is she...being stalked at this point? She keeps going on about that Doctor bloke who died, and acting like Donna can do something to help fix this. There's a commotion outside. Apparently it's something with those ATMOS things in the cars.  One of the soldiers aims right at her- why does this keep happening?? There's nothing on her back- people keep fixating on it! The blond woman is here yet again. Probably with more words of doom and gloom, how some such people died or whatever. Donna tries to not let it get to her, but this is starting to get creepy. The whole world is being smothered in gas, they're officially in too deep.  Nobody's going to stop this, so why does the blond want her?
Donna is just a temp...well, was just a temp.  What is she even supposed to do?

She goes anyway.  She thought she was in deep before, turns out it can get deeper...

It's been a busy week. At work, I've been put in a job that I don't feel qualified for, and we're starting a new project that I'm doing a lot of design for that I have no experience with. I really feel like I'm in too deep. So, why not use that as a writing prompt?

Write a scene where your character feels "in too deep". There are lots of different ways you can approach this. Maybe they're in a relationship that they're not ready for. Maybe it's a companion who doesn't feel that they have anything they can contribute to the TARDIS crew. Maybe the characters are trapped in a hole and can't figure out a way to get out. (We just watched that Stargate Atlantis episode, "Trio". One of our favorites.) It could be a character introspection, or the character(s) could be actively trying to get out of the situation, or something else entirely.
