( Today I was thinking about the Library and Donna and Lee. So have a thing set in the world where they were married)
Donna stirred a little, her eyes fluttering open as sunlight started to stream through the windows of their bedroom.
It was too early- it always seemed to be too early.
"Morning" she groggily said, slowly rising and placing a little kiss on Lee's cheek.
"M, Morning" he said. He was already up and getting dressed. "M, Mrs. McAvoy" he added, returning to little kiss.
That was something Donna was still getting used to. But she loved it.
The couple proceeded to the kitchen, where their children were waiting on breakfast.
"Mummy!" Ella exclaimed, running over and wrapping Donna in a hug.
"Well, good morning , sweetheart" Donna smiled, lifting her daughter slightly. "So, cereal then?"
The rest of the day preceded as normal- kids went to the park, Lee was working. But Donna couldn't help but feel an inkling as the sun began to set. Like, something she was forgetting about. Leaning back on the sofa as her children were engrossed by the cartoons on TV, a part of her was wondering if it actually mattered. That this was her family, her life now.
