shivverThis challenge takes a little more than just writing an unconnected scene. This requires a little bit of planning.
Write a short scene in which your character has just had something happen that changes something and they're now either reflecting on it or talking to another character about it. This could be as simple as your character is going somewhere and a traffic accident on the road means they need find a different route, or as complex as someone revealing a secret causes your character to reconsider their beliefs or morals. The introspection or conversation should deal with the change: maybe it will discuss if the change is necessary, or the character not wanting to do it, etc.
