More poetry! Playing with rhyme structure. Can't really blame Tos for this one, but I'm pretty sure the plains in question are Tromar.
The plains sway under the gusts of wind
the sun burns harsh and bright
summer drought plauges the land
thirst for rain on every mind
each cloud eagerly watched
willing for it to drop
hope fades with the sun to save the crop
the moon rises, shadow-notched
farmers sleep feeling resigned
thunder rolls as if God's hand
struck the land with all his might
rain falls, bringing it all to an end.
