(That's a beautiful quote... wasn't quite sure what to do with it , but there's this)
Nyssa hummed softly as the final notes of Let it Be echoed through the TARDIS' speakers. She had grown a bit of fondness for the Beatles after their trip to 1963, and the ship seemed to enjoy introducing her to more of their repetoire.
"Ah, Nyssa, there you are" came the Doctor's voice behind her, throwing the Trakenite a bit off guard. "I was doing a bit of searching and I believe I've found something you might enjoy."
"Oh, sorry Doctor" said Nyssa, "I was just taking a bit of break from my experiments. What is it?"
Taking her hand, the Doctor led Nyssa to a part of the library she'd never seen: it looked like a small art gallery. The paintings all had a solid black background while the myriad of colors seemed to almost be...coalescing. Like ripples in water.
"Astral art" the Doctor explained, "From the Rigel collective of painters. "
"Oh they're lovely" Nyssa said softly, watching as a painting now seemed to swirl like a tornado.
The Doctor nodded. "And just listen"
Nyssa closed her eyes as soft silvery music seemed to flow through the room. " Doctor, is that...the paintings?"
"It is. " He confirmed, " One of the most brilliant qualities of astral art, Nyssa. The colors not only move, but seem to sing while you look at them."
