Rumplestiltskin was still away, gone off to Agrabah apparently.  And of course, he had been as secretive and vague as ever about why he'd left.  But Belle's main priority now was dusting his collection.  There had been days where the thought of running away had indeed crossed her mind for a fleeting moment, but there was something indescribable keeping her here.  Bravery? Duty? Or was...it him? At times, he could be as prickly and rough as thorns. But she knew somewhere there was a rose underneath. 

 

There were so many lovely and wonderful things in the Castle. She'd asked him on multiple occasions why he'd collected or procured all of them- he'd simply tell her to return to her chores.  As the sunset was drawing even closer and the few smatterings of light were creating flecks of brightness in the darkening room, another object caught her eye.  Picking it up rather delicately, she turned the small amber stone in her hand. 

 

"Enjoying yourself, dearie?" 

 

At the sound of that now-familiar voice, Belle dropped the stone, swiftly trying to replace it.
