Challenge 131 (?)

So I've not been the best mood lately, thus what I just wrote. :)

This challenge- write the aftermath of something.
We're going to do a little h/c . Two characters after a diaster/ emergency/ close call.
How do they react? Is one patching the other up ? Or do they have no reaction and it's just part of their everyday lives at this point?

(Needed something a bit soft today so here's 5/ Nyssa comfort)

The Doctor silenty stirred his tea, waiting for Nyssa to say something.

"It wasn't your fault, "Nyssa said at last, "Or anyone's."

"Yes it was" the Doctor said, frowning somewhat. "I was trying to keep everyone on the ship saife, and in the process, protect you."

"Protect me?" Nyssa asked, a bit taken aback. "Doctor, I wasn't in any real danger. "

"But you could have been executed" the Doctor pointed out, taking a sip of his tea. "And you're, well, ...fragile."

"Fragile?" Nyssa asked, her tone a bit offended. After all this time, he considered her fragile?

"Well given your abilities, and everything we've gone through" the Doctor tried to explain. "I just didn't want to lose anyone else."

Oh. At that, Nyssa rose, putting an arm on his shoulder. "What was it Tegan would say? Indestructible? " Nyssa smiled a little. "Perhaps I'm that as well."

The Doctor embraced his companion. Despite her words, he couldn't help still see her as fragile- something precious , and he felt he cared a lot for her.
