shivverToday, our internet was out because the ISP was upgrading the lines in the area. They only notified us yesterday, and they said it could go out at any time and should be done before the end of the day, and that they'd text when it came back on. It went out around 8:00 in the morning and finally came back after 10:00 at night, and of course they didn't text - we only found out because we were checking every half hour or so. It was frustrating.
Today's challenge: Write a couple of paragraphs of your characters waiting for something. Maybe it's a flight or a train, or maybe it's a service, like a plumber fixing a pipe. Or maybe they're waiting for a friend to join them for dinner. Is it late? Are they frustrated? Or maybe they're just taking it in stride and having a good time. What are they doing while they wait?
