shivverI've been a bit lax lately here, forgetting to post challenges regularly, because lately, RL's been a bit stressful. Hopefully that'll clear up right soon, because today's my last day working on my current project, which also means the end of the current stresses. I just got out of the last team meeting where I got to say my goodbyes.
Your challenge today: Write a goodbye scene, where someone takes their leave. Lots of ways you can approach this. It can be the last day on the job with a team the character really loved. (*sniffle*) Or maybe a team they really hated. ;) It can be someone breaking off a relationship with someone else. It can be someone leaving on a weekend trip, or on a year-long journey. It could even be one of those scenes where the character is dangling off the side of the ship and knows they need to let go and fall to their death to save everyone else, so they say goodbye to person trying to save them.
