I wasn't sure if I should do this, but I already finished my weekly assignment yesterday and I got an idea for this one. Plus I have missed writing something that wasn't along the lines of "Please explain what the 'mask' in Dunbar's poem is referring to in 5 to 7 complete sentences and make sure to respond to someone else's." :P (In all honesty, so far what I've had to read hasn't been too bad. Some of it is kind of interesting)
The sounds of thunder and crashing waves grew luder by the second . Nyssa gripped the Doctor's hand tightly as another mighty wave cascaded with the small boat. She'd began to feel a lurching sensation within her stomach.
"The storm is increasing " the Doctor observed, feeling around for the oar. " Fortunately, we aren't terribly far away from --- ah." He caught Nyssa's expression. "You're not feeling at all well, are you?"
Nyssa swallowed, nausea overtaking her like a mini tornado. " We didn't have seas like this on Traken." She groaned as another bit of spray hit her.
Suddenly, the wind howled, causing the boat to tip. Nyssa looked down at the blue-black water as the tipping grew worse. She could feel her body starting to quaver and descend.
"Nyssa, take my hand!" called the Doctor.
" I can't!" she exclaimed, barely keeping her head above the water.
The next several moments were all a blur of crashing waves and darkness.
