(Tenth Doctor and Donna)
Donna paced along the silvery-grey platform in a mix of anticipation and boredom.
"Is it nearly time yet?" she asked, feeling a sudden arctic blast of breeze run across her face and hair.
"Just a little bit longer, Donna" the Doctor reassured her. He'd promised her the view of a lifetime, he'd only gotten the timing a little off.
"You keep saying that, Spaceman, but we've been sitting out on this deck thing for over an hour now!" the redhead complained. "Blimey, I'm starting to get a chill."
"Should only be a few more minutes" the Doctor said, looking up at the vastness of space surrounding them. "Oh you are going to love this! In three, two, one..."
"What? There's nothing-"
Donna stopped and looked up. Before her eyes, streams of color and light swirled around them. Beautiful clouds of dust joined to create an entire symphony of brightness in the vast coldness of space.
"What did I tell you?" the Doctor asked, "Birth of a new star. "
"Okay I admit, you were right" she said, still watching in awe. "This was definitely worth waiting for."
