Some days, you just have to force yourself to get some words down. Let's see what comes out.
"No, don't tell me!" Tapping her index finger on her lips, Amy surveyed the console then reached for button that would be more at home on a clanky 40s typewriter.
"Ah-!" the Doctor began, but she cut him off.
"I said, don't tell me! Of course it's not that. It's..." She held up her hand to silence him, then reached for a red plastic lever, her eyes still glued to his face. She pulled back and tried for a reel of blue wire, then moved toward a dial, a slider, and finally a spigot, all the while watching the Doctor. "This one!" she announced, turning the handle on top. Nothing came out of the tap, but an array of blue lights above their heads began to blink.
"Excellent, Pond," the Doctor proclaimed, clasping his hands together. "I didn't think you'd remember that."
"I didn't, Doctor," she admitted. "You told me which one." He frowned his confusion, and she explained, "Your nose, it wiggles just a bit when I'm wrong and you're trying not to say so."
"It does not!" he exclaimed, drawing himself up in indignation.
She pointed at the spigot. "No wiggle, right one. Which reminds me, tonight's poker night." She leant over, pecked him on the cheek, and flounced out.
