Write a scene where one character encounters for the first time something that the other character considers common and/or familiar. One idea would be a culture clash, such as a person who grew up in one country learning something new about another country's culture. Another idea is a time clash, such as a young person discovering an object that was common to their grandparent when they were a child (for example, a cassette tape to a modern youngster). Or you can go the sci-fi/fantasy route, such as a human visiting a new planet/world.
