Jon didn’t have time to scream, “No!” He leapt head-first, arms splayed, hoping against hope to beat the lightning arcing from Bolt’s fingers toward Brian. The crackling blue energy hit him full in the chest and coruscated over him as he fell. He slammed into the ground with a dull thud and lay there, his body twitching for a moment from the leftover electricity before it stilled.

 (Angels Take Manhattan)

"Changing the future" said Amy, running her hand along her husband's face "It's called marriage." 
And with that, the couple fell; their eyes only on each other.
"Amy!" the Doctor cried;
But there was no time to save them. At that moment, time itself seemed to slow down. The Ponds had fallen down to their deaths, wrapped in each other's arms. All the Doctor could do was watch on as the paradox took effect.

 This challenge is all about Character.  

Namely, Original characters! :)

Write a scene from an OC's life. It can be a major event, an encounter with another character, etc.  This is mainly about backstory and maybe hinting around at his/her flaws.

(Alternatively,  if you don't have an OC or would rather do a different character, write a scene giving some focus/backstory to a minor or guest character)
