 Today I saw The Little Mermaid ( with 2nd Mom, my niece, and a friend) .   And if you're curious about my thoughts on it I'll answer privately or in comments.   But it inspired me a little... 

Your challenge is to think about someone making a desperate choice.  Write about your characters' process of deciding.   Is it a deadly choice or is there a third option?
