 ( So! Novelizing a bit of A Christmas Carol because lately I've been having a lot of feels about it and rewatched a little of it today.  Attempting to do third person omniscent POV .  Also working on active verbs.  This is from near the beginning, after the narration part.)

Challenge #218

Today's challenge: Write an accident. It could be a simple and harmless as a pen leaking while the character is writing a letter, or as devastating as a fatal car accident - anything that the character wasn't intending to happen. Thing is, be sure to write the actual event. If you want to write the events leading up to it or those after it (for those of you hurt/comfort fans), you're welcome to add them on.
