This is related to what I posted the other day, but I do want to fix or add onto a couple of things.
I rewatched most of The Lazarus Experiment to hear their voices. So picking up from the ending of that episode but before 42.
--------
"Thank you! Thank you!" Martha exclaimed, breaking the hug and heading inside the TARDIS, the Doctor not far behind her. She watched in fascination and amusement as his hands flew across the massive console.
"Right!" he said, reaching a hand up and running it through his electrified-looking hair. " Where to next? I've shown you Shakespeare, New New York, old New York, where do you want to go? Anywhere at all."
Martha smiled. " First give me a bit to get changed. Or at least get out of these shoes." The whole "black tie" thing was nice, but after an hour or so , not exactly comfortable in terms of footwear.
" Fine. I'll be here, give me a bit to find us somewhere spectacular." He gave her an impish look as she hurried off.
------
Martha searched through the pole of clothes she found in one room; mentally imagining if she'd ever wear such a thing. A purple top that llied fairly new. Not bad, but her eyes fixed on the name label on it ( made either by the TARDIS itself or the Doctor) and it was a pass. Something that looked like a bikini made or leather? Not in a million years. Red and white striped overalls? Cute but she wasn't four. Maybe there'd be better things in her room.
Question was, where was her room?
------
Martha flinched , feeling a sudden brush of... something against her hand. It felt... soft. Like something she'd felt before. Looking down at her hand, Martha saw a tiny butterfly. Its wings a mix of blue and green. Where had that come from? Turning around, she saw tons more butterflies - in every possible colour. It was like watching a show seeing them all flutter around the room. Why would the Doctor have a room like this? she thought
