(I've not been writing much recently, due to RL reasons and just not feeling motivated or inspired. But today I wanted to get something done so I'm setting my phone for 10 minutes. When all else fails , have some cake!fic :))

"Well, Doctor," Charley looked down at the manacles restraining them both to the castle eall. " I was hoping today to sit in the bath with a copy of Sense and Sensibility. Not be bound and covered in..." She sniffed. " What is this?"
"Parkin" the Doctor replied, trying hard to lick a small taste off his fingers to no avail. " That's certainly new. "
Charley gave an exasperated sigh. " Have you donee this before?"
" A few times over the years. And it never ends well."
Charley came close to asking more details, but realized she didn't want to know. " I still wish I could take off this silly gown. These shoes hurt, even when my feet are in these things!"
"Charley, I promised you a proper ball. Big flowing gowns, waltzing, everything. " The Doctor grinned like an impish schoolboy. " And even cake!"
