Write a scene in which one character is telling another character how to do something. It doesn't need to be long or complicated; it could be as simple as telling them to get the salt out of the cupboard, measure out a half-teaspoon, and add it to the dry ingredients in the bowl.

The trick here is to weigh how important it is for the reader to know the details of what's being done against how your character would actually say it. Would your character be detailed like I was above? Or would they point at the cupboard and say, "It's in there. Just need a half-teaspoon"? And is that the right amount of detail for the reader?
