tenminutesadayDonna cringed as angered hisses assailed them from all directions. She slapped the Doctor's knee. "For the last time, shush, Spaceman! I can't hear them down on the stage."
He recoiled from her with a brief offended frown, then settled back in his seat.
Donna returned her attention to the performance, where a bright green alien lizard bedecked in a deep crimson cloak and a feathered cap played the best Hamlet she'd ever seen. He stepped to the front of the stage and removed his hat, clutching it to his scaly chest.
"Oh, oh!" the Doctor exclaimed, grabbing her arm. "This is the best part! He's going to mmrmf!"
She kept her hand firmly clamped over his mouth despite his struggling. She might have to do this for another hour or so, but she was determined to enjoy the play in silence.
