Totally forgot to post a challenge, so here it is, a day late.
Last night, I woke up in the wee hours of morning and couldn't fall back asleep, so here's a sleep challenge. Write a scene about a dream. Not about the characters dreaming, but instead the dream itself. Usually in stories, a dream that is actually described is relevant to the story: maybe it's prophetic; maybe it reveals clues to the reader; maybe it reminds the character of something later on, when they're awake. Try to keep that in mind as you write, that the dream shouldn't just be random images or fluff, but will serve some greater purpose in the rest of the story.
