Imagine a fantasy world - either one you're already working in or a new one. Think about not only what the physical world looks like, but also how it feels - its atmosphere, its energy, even its spirituality... Try to think of three sentences that you would use to describe what that place is like to someone else, to make it them see it as vividly as possible... Got it? Okay.

Now...

Choose two or three characters, either from a fandom or original work, or new characters from our world. Write a few paragraphs of them stepping out for the first time on a world that's the exact opposite of the world you just imagined. What "opposite" means is up to you. It could be physically different - a rocky, volcanic world instead of a green, verdant world. Or it could be emotionally different - a dangerous, oppressive world rather than a safe, nurturing world. Or something else.
