( for dw100, prompt "pub" .  So of course I thought of that bit in Turn Left. And Clara for some reason. So ... Divergence yay!! )

" Another drink?" the brunette at the bar asked, already pouring. "Look like you're celebrating."
"Yeah thanks" Donna read her name tag, "Clare.'  Just me and the girls.  Promotion today."
" Well, congrats then" Clare chirped,  then froze as she nearly spilled the drink.  "Listen, you've got something there. Right there" She vaguely waved a hand,  indicating Donna's back.
"What?" Donna asked, grabbing a napkin.  " You're the third person today who's been..."
She was cut off as shouts of "A star! A Christmas star!" could be heard throughout the pub.
"Better go and check on that" Clare remarked, halfway out the door already.

This challenge is about Viewpoint.

Take a scene from something you've already written ( or , someone else's fic ) and try rewriting it in a different point of view ( i.e. first person, third limited, etc)

Sample ( someone in this comm can probably guess what this is)  scene. Which you can use.

Yesterday, Martha was just an ordinary medical student, living an equally ordinary life. Since then the hospital had been whisked to the moon and back, she’d met a nutty but gorgeous time and space travelling alien, and now here she was in a grimy little room centuries before her time, having just met William Shakespeare!

Head still whirling, she lay down on the small bed beside the Doctor, acutely aware of how close he was to her, and tried to sleep. This couldn’t be real.

‘I bet I’ll wake up tomorrow and find it was all just a weird dream.’
