(5 and Nyssa and Tegan.   Did a relisten to part of Spare Parts today,  and noticed a big flaw of Nyssa's is wanting to help without thinking about the consequences.   So this might be a situation)

The ship was doomed.  The sound of coughing filled the air and the overwhelming scent of disease and plague was everywhere.  Nyssa gt to work helping carry one of the survivors, a young woman, to an available bed.

The Doctor pulled on her arm. "Nyssa, I think we should leave."

"I'm not coming with you, Doctor" answered the Trakenite. " These people need help."

Tegan gasped.  "What? You're not serious."

"But-  you can't !" he exclaimed.  "What about the virus? Given your different kind of biology,  it's highly likely you're susceptible to it."

Nyssa let out a tiny cough.  "I'm willing to take the risk.  You and Tegan go and see if you can talk to the Commander about resetting the fuel.  I'll collect what I need from the TARDIS later."

"Doctor, " Tegan whispered. "Tell her she can't leave!"

"I can't, Tegan" the Doctor answered, his hands in his pockets. "This isn't the first time Nyssa and I have been in this situation.  "

"But if she stays here, she might die!"

"She's made her choice."

A retelling of the end of "Terminus"? That's definitely a flaw of hers. I'm not sure that the Doctor would be the one to exclaim "You can't" - I'd think Tegan would do that, and the Doctor would be calmer, pointing out that she'd be susceptible. Other than that, I think this was an excellent depiction of Nyssa.

Not the worst character flaw to have, that's for sure.
